Riding in kingston?

so im moving from cali to kingston ontario to go to queens university, sucks that i cant ride mammoth now, but does anyone in the kingston area manage to ride in decent spots?

i was maybe thinking riding in new york since thats not too far a distance, any ideas?

Theres not much around kingston...ul have to drive alittle. You can go to places in quebec like tremblant and avila which are like 3-4 hours away or places like blue mountain near toronto but those are even father and tiny, and then i guess you could try vermont and stuff like that but i dont no how far they are

im very sorry to say that ur pretty much shit out of luck for skiing in kingston. definitely one of the reasons i didnt go to queens. if you have a car you could make the long mission to quebec hills but ur gonna be dissapointed if ur used to mammoth.

hate to break it to you but i live in kingston and it is shit for skiing. there are some very small hills within 2 hours but they have parks that are highly sketchy. the nearest good stuff is mt stanne, owls head, blue has a good park, or jay

i live there in the summer...theres one ski shop called sepp's which is kinda cool...but as far as a ski hill....your in a bit of trouble. there are a couple more local hills like 45 minutes away kinda thing, but they are...well..they aren't mammoth. you best bet is taking trips into quebec.
