Ride tribe worth it?

Alright, i'm heading to whistler at christmas and i'm wondering if Ride Tribe is worth the mula...i know whistler and blackcomb very well since i lived in vancouver till i was 12 and head back almost every x-mas. my problem is all the kids i used to ski w/ have either gone to college cause they're older than me, or i haven't talked to since i left. i have people to ride with for a few days but don't want to ski w/ them whole time i'm there....so ride tribe worth it?
