I need a set of all moutain skis to take to Tuckermans this spring. I like what I have been hearing about the Atomic R series. I rode a friends R:8's and they rocked. Does anyone know the difference between the R:8, R:9, R:11 and R:EX? I looked on their website but it was next to useless. I'm thinking of 177's or shorter, I'm rideing 163 1260's now.

get the rossi bandit b2, you won't regret it. I tried them, they are incredible. Smooth carving, plenty of pop, effortless medium radius turns, steady in the crud, and they're wide-ish so they have floatiation.
