Ride ons suck

I hate t when up rails are set up kind of like this. The jump needs to be way taller or steeper or something, instead it's really skinny and just kind of intersects the up. It bums me out

get over it and learn to ride anything. the only way a jump can be made better is if its made smaller, but haveing jumps being diffrent allows for diffrent things.

thats still really stupid to say though.

but its true, ride on to up is gay. but def favorite thing to hit is gap to flat down.

i am playing that right now. i haven't got any cake left, but the game is still running and i'm still earning points. really great..

...what is wrong with this? this is totally right. the only way that a "RIDE ON" could be cooler is if it is A. further back B. lower down (i.e. smaller)

There's no room to jump and turn i guess/? I forgot to mention im talking specifically about rails where the first bit is up.

We are talking about rails, no matter if its urban or not a SMALLER JUMP is better. I rather have shit with no jump becuse then every gaper in the park wont beable to hit. I guess I forgot that people on NS need a jump to get one shit becuse no one knows how to use there skis to pop.

your an idiot. a smaller jump isn't ALWAYS better. if your going to have an up rail, your saying that the smaller the jump the better, well unfortunatly if its too small your gonna struggle getting onto it and you won't be able to spin on. And you do need a jump for some rails, you cant just fucking pop onto to everything off the ground, down rails maybe but a fucking high flat bar or up rail, lets see you "pop" onto that with no jump. so don't say you forgot NS needs jumps to hit rails because so do you.

So end of story, smaller jumps aren't ALWAYS better.

Hahaha, you're still probably set up better than Belleayre, they actually have downhill ride-ons for flat boxes. It was a joke to even try hitting the up box. Here is a prefect example drawn by some quier-mo I know.

Every rail is different. If you want to have any fun on an up rail or one that starts up, the jump needs to be a bit taller and match the angle of the rail. On a down rail some would rather have no jump at all, you cant make these generalizations like smaller is better. If you try an urban lip onto a big tall rainbow were you need to haul just to get to the top, you're probably gonna nut yourself trying to go from almost flat to up while you're really truckin.

Up rails and any other kind rail dosent need a jump, why not ollie on from the side or turn 90 before the rail and get on like that. I understand if the front of the rail is a few feet off the ground but alot of them arent. Back in the days of skiing in NY Lab use to have insane roller and rainbow rails that went into the ground, they had no jumps at all. It made them alot more fun becuse it wasnt easy to get on, let alone do a trick. And when I say its allways better to have a smaller jump its what I think, so you dont need to think the same way.

theres andyP, always thinking on the progressive side of things. how awesome skiing will be when humans are so evolved they can jump 3 feet of the ground with skis on........

i have to disagree. Sometimes jumps onto rails that require a lot of pop or fun. But i have been places where they are so small all u can do is get on the rail. U cant 270 or try anything. I don't mind it its set back really far but i hate it when u have tiny jumps right in front of the rail.

haha now everything at lab is always a ridiculous ride on. in my opinion all down rails should be urban and other rails with small jumps. will help to prepare you for the streets

I hate that too, i hate when the jumps up to rails are all beat to shit and are way too low and when you try to do the rail/box your back ski catches.....man that pisses me off
