Ride East from Hood desperately needed

Got stuck in Govy, need to get back to VT as soon as I can. If anyone's driving from Hood/Portland area east anytime soon and has room for one more please help me out. Sister's getting married September 8th so that's my dilemma. Erik
 
We could get the community to chip in 5-10 dollars if a plane ticket isnt super expensive...but my opinion and ideas dont matter...

i would take the bus but i have no money. tried craigslist but no luck so far. hahaha i know palmer park is open and thats sick, but not really a good reason to miss my sister's wedding.

does anyone know anyone drivin across? please

I know a kid who went from boulder to alaska and back using just this site. you may also go to a local truck stop and ask truckers they will help you out you usually gotta supply something to help them out weed, meth, sex, booze, but you'll make it there.
WHy don't your parents or sister help you out? I mean this is kind of a big deal and I find it weird they won't buy you a ticket to Vermont... for your sisters wedding... that you need to attend but can't.. because you have no money.
 
i posted on a few sites but everyone needs gas money, and i literally don't have a dollar to my name. as for asking my family, my sister is usually pretty broke, and extremely broke because of all the wedding expenses. my dad might be able to help me out, but again, wedding's are really expensive. i was supposed to be working out here but my job was no longer available when i got here and they didn't tell me until i did. i told my dad i would definitely be able to get back here before i took off, because i thought i would still be working here when i got here.
 
you best start walking. people have hitchhiked across the country before. or go to the airstrip and look for people with eastern license plates.
 
bump. probably gonna start hitching by the weekend if no good news by then. WordUpVT started a thread to see if anyone would donate for a bus ticket but he was the only one whos helped out so far, so im not sure if thats gonna happen. (thanks again by the way homie! if i dont use that for travel ill obviously send it back to you)

anybody know anyone driving even in the eastern direction?
 
just hitchhike dude. it's safe, fast, and fun. and a great way to meet people. unless you look like a sketchbag it won't take more than 5 days cross-country. and it's free.
 
you should have signed up for the portland to portland biking thing a couple months ago. My friend is doing it. Last time i heard she was in... Never mind just checked and she finished yesterday!
