Has anyone seen the stand up shows of his, animals and politics - its fucken funny man.

for sure, I posted a thread in media and arts about his new show "extras", but it got no love. Gervais is fucking hilarious. I download his podcasts for the ricky gervais show every time they come out. Its fso funny and if out and listening to them you will make a fool of yourself just laughing all alone with your headphones on. you can get all the extras epsiodes on limewire 1 through 6.
 
Overrated. His Politics stand up show wasn't funny in the slightest. Embarassingily so.
 
thats his humor buddy. hes not raunchy funny or any of that shit, gervais is all about, stupid embarassing yourself humor. the guy is a genius, you obviously just dont get him.
 
The Office is the best show of all time. But Ricky Gervais seems like kind of a douche based on his standup and radio show. Funny guy, but The office was just perfection
 
I think he's alright, Karl is fuckin hilarious. It's just funny to hear Karl say something and have Ricky jump all over him and call him a "stupid mank twat" or something.
 
okay so you obviously dont like it. so be it. I love british humour and I love shows, like the office or "extras" or his standup where he is just an embarrasment to himself. honestly he is not there to crack a funny one liner, he tells a stupid joke and gets a nervous chuckle from the audience or the other cast members and that is his comedy. if you do "get" it but dont like it, your missing out.
