Revolution in skiing

hard to say, they have both contributed in different areas, to different markets

What about the revolution that's just happening?

We have Shane McConkey, Eric Pollard and Pep Fujas to thank for this one!

glen plake?

simon dumont?

mike douglas?

there are many people who have revolutionized the sport of skiing...the credit can not go to one person.

Non im saying that sure there helping revoultion-ize skiing but Seth did the double front and started basically all forms of powder skiing....he helped us launch out of pussies on grooomers into a whole diffrent style of skiing....T-Hall did the exact same thing but in park....he just did what he wanted to....made the skiis he wanted too...and has helpeed the whole idea of skiing just by doing that.........

and yesss it is the battle of the oakleys....

oh yeah Armada T-Halls?Or Seth Pistols??

Fine I'll break it down for you....

TO POWDER...

so Tanner Hall was a park rat for years but now he came out with Beleive right?

pretty much all pow so then you can compare.

well... i mean in that way, they sort of moved in the same direction because they ride together now. stylistically, i would say tanner has the more "revolutionary" style, just because its different than traditional big mountain skiing, but they both do revolutionary things...

but still, they arent really comparable because they are both revolutionaries. you cant say that seth is crazier than tanner or tanner is crazier than seth because they both dominate sooo hard. obviously on in more forum than another.

a better thread would be: idea crew vs believe crew/ who is most innovative in the backcountry/big mountain forum. because if you dont think pep, andy and pollard can keep up in the big boy stuff, or that tanner cant do butters off of pillow lines...

Seth INVENTED big mountain, he's been throwing things most kids don't do in the park off of 70 foot cliffs and is what every big mountain skier wants to but never will be. Tanner won everything and is a househould name because he is super consistent with big tricks, but he hasn't invented anything.
