Revision Skis HYPE

All I've heard is people bashing revision skis and how this rail warranty will bite them in the ass, I bought a pair and am absolutely stoked on it. Its great to support a new company, I just wanna see all the people that are hype about getting their revisions instead of hating them

love what they're doing, don't need any more skis right now but if I did I would have bought the Bunch colab in a heartbeat

Wait, people actually hate on revision for offering a good warranty? It may backfire on them financially but if anything we as customers should be graceful they are willing to take that risk, maybe more companies will follow.. I need to find the thread where they are getting hated on because of this..

Yessir, those are the only threads I've seen, so I'm just trying to see what positive stuff about revision there is

they are epic planks rebranded from my understanding. not a new company, hence "revision"

Ahhh I see, that would make some sense

Ordered a pair of the talisman, so pumped to use them this season!

Exactly how I feel, just pumped to try out revision brand. I got the talisman as well

Its awesome!

They are doing everything they can to get people to buy their skis. Theyre giving insane discounts, collabing with the bunch, sponsoring some of the coolest skiers. I only really see good things from revision and I cant understand why anyone would want to hate on them.

That's what I think. I think they're going to do nothing but good for the ski industry

Had a pair of prototypes last season and they were a ton of fun, maybe a bit on the stiff side but it sounds like theyve done some tweaking on the production models. We'll see if the rail damage warranty puts them under but i can definitely support them for trying to change industry standards on warranties and being a unique start up brand

"Appreciate the interest guys, Just wanted to clarify that we are not part of Epic Planks and we don't have the same construction, factory, etc. One of our owners is a former member of EP, but our company is not associated with EP."

So it's way more than rebranded just epic planks skis. Pretty much an entirely different entity.

Makes sense, wasn't sure because I know a guy who used to ride for EP went straight on the revision team, appreciate the clarification!

I have last years talismans and I love them, so much so that I bought another pair of them this year. Looking forward to them!

That's great to hear! I can't wait for mine to come in.

Just another update, I received a post card in the mail specifically addressed and handwritten to me, thanking me for ordering their skis and letting me know when they'll be shipped, even more stoked!

I just purchased a pair of subtractions , but when I unboxed them, there is a crack in the wood underneath the top sheet. Would this compromise the strength of the nose?

Thread like these and the one where a defended revision against Scott at on3p kinda make me die a little inside. Fuck bill man.
