Some easy research using facebook and Scott's post about his wife indicates that he is not divorced, living in Kalamazoo area and is alive. From a human story pov I am intrigued. What would cause someone to do this. It really doesn't sound like he is a huge piece and that he is more than likely dealing with some personal issues and legal issues. No one can keep this quiet about things unless they are suicidal or bound by the law.

If you really wanna do this, you’d need to take it to r/prorevenge or some page that actually has potential to get to the front page. It’s rare a ski post on r/skiing makes it past a few hundred votes. But what do i know, you can literally post this thing multiple times to get as much exposure as you can. Redditors are also very against doxing users, but if it’s the general public they’ll have a field day.

You’re not wrong. Which is why reddit is like a brilliant idea but tough to execute. Kids who are closest to home to him will need to keep their eyes open for him in the public setting which is the hard part. He clearly is trying to keep his life offline

r/Skiing is hit or miss. A lot of mainstream jerry's over there, but there are a just as many people that know a thing or two about skiing and would be very interested in this. I think it would gain traction there if it was posted in the correct way. You're correct that it isn't the most popular subreddit in the world... though I did see them on the front page a while back when they posted the Wallisch backflip loop from Xgames.

r/prorevenge is defiantly the right place for this kind of thing... however, that community isn't trying to get revenge against others. It is just a place to share stories and what not about times when assholes got fucked over. If we somehow took Bill down, they would eat it up over there.

The kids had no part in it, are just children for Christ sake... who do you think I am?

What I mean is that, if his family fell apart because of this I would not give a fuck. I would not give a fuck if Bill's life is a never ending saga of bill collectors calling him, custody battles, missed child support payments, etc. I would not feel bad if his kids didn't get to go out west every winter and if they had to move out of their nice house and picturesque life. Feel me? His wife was in on it too... fuck them and if their family falls apart because of it, that's fine with me. Bill part owner epic planks. Therefore was manufacturing skis for Batalla for a year and fucked them over. That is the only thing he was involved with regarding them. He then created revision in the aftermath of Batalla vs epic planks

From what I have heard batalla sued Epic Planks because they paid them to manufacture their skis and then Epic Planks didn't deliver. As a result Batalla got all of their equipment and started making skis in Texas, which apparently they were not good at. I never heard of a counter suit and I believe all the manufacturing equipment is still in Texas.

Looks like i was one of the lucky few to actually receive my pre-ordered skis, (almost 9 months after pre ordering 2 summers ago..) My blinks are still in the plastic from the day I got them. I finally removed the bubble wrap on the tips and tails, but not the plastic film that surrounds both skis. Come to find out that the tail of one ski is already delaminating, before its left the original wrapper.. Mind the rust, they've been in the closet for over a year. Im not sure what to do with them at this point. beater park skis perhaps, or a sacrifice to the snow gods.

Just throw some high strength epoxy on that delam and it should fix that portion of the delam.

sorry man, i checked my dad's garage for this thread and i guess the older skis got thrown out or given away. all i have left is a 175 pair of ARVS that are beat to hell, edge ripping out etc. ill check those out tomorrow but IIRC theyre more trouble than theyre worth

What's the difference between a 13 yo kid who can't afford a more expensive set of skis and an athlete who can't afford a more expensive set of skis? You make it sound like it's the easiest thing to jump from sponsor to sponsor, and it's not any of the athlete's fault the company fell apart. Look at how long it took Sandy B to get from Revision to Line, he's got a bigger name that a lot of the other athletes that Revision was sponsoring.

It's not like it was some scheme where they made a bunch of money on false promises. Honestly a lot of them were as fucked as anyone. Realizing you suddenly don't have a ski sponsor mid season. Nobody was tagging revision after mid last season, even if they were still riding the skis.

Couldn't confirm for the ones that received their talisman (pg. 11-13) but it sure as hell seems like it for people who ordered blinks. Also it's weird that everyone asking for a refund ordered in August / ask for a 360$ refund

So for those scoring at home:

-Revision is still selling skis.

-They are shipping full price skis ordered in January ahead of the preorders that came through in August. Across oceans no less.

-They used your preorder money to buy skis, and they are selling them to someone else if they are willing to pay a higher price. Even if you get your skis, they have obviously put you at the back of the queue.

I hope this page of the thread gets read in a courtroom someday. Fuck Bill Wanrooy.

Update: I received my Blink skis from Fedex here in France around the beginning of March, but have had issues with the postal service getting hold of them until last week so only have a few days on them.
