REVIEW: In-N-Out Burger

best in between fast food and sit down restaurants in the midwest: Culvers and 5 Guys
Culvers is a pretty big franchise but everything they have is soooo good
5 Guys isn't really fast food, they make everything fresh in front of you and it's the best food thats ever touched my mouth
i had inNout once like 5 years ago, but i wasnt really able to enjoy it cause all i got was a burger while walking, i NEED it, nothing beats burger and fries

I agree, I've never been to the east coast, and really wouldn't even be interested, except maybe a weekend in NY or something, just to have been there. And bits of Florida maybe.

I'm actually planning to come up there to Cat, for real this time! You should hook me up with these burgers you speak of.

road side carne asada fries sound like a mild case of e.coli to me...

animal fries arent near my fav. thing at that place.. but they still are good. Its really all about the burger i had last week when i was bored and had 11 dollars to spend...

it was a 10x10. no cheese whatsoever... but it had produce in place of the cheese. so... patty, tomato, lettuce, patty, tomato, lettuce, and so on.

needless to say... freaking bomb as hell.

and this is coming from someone who loves and seeks out good burgers, and even follows a burger blog....

For fast food - yeah. I would hit it up before I went to wendy's, burger king, or mcdonalds.

But I still don't think it is the best fast food. I would rather hit up burgerville and probably even good times.

It could be that because it gets built up so much by everyone that it is hard to meet me expectations. It is a decent burger. But anyone who says that any fast food burger is the best ever is crazy IMO, and it seems like some people live and die by In-N-Out.

hahaha YES! I live in ohio but traveled out to San Diego for vacation and drove over an hour to find one. Needless to say itwas AMAZINNG! Highly recommended.

dude in n out is way better than any other restaraunt ever on the face of the earth. theres no comparison at all.

Burgerville has some damn good burgers, and definitely the best shakes I've ever had. But in my opinion, it doesn't hold a candle to In-N-Out. I live in Oregon, and drive to Redding, CA just to have In-N-Out. It's THAT good.

As I said, maybe it was just a failure to meet expectations. In-n-out gets built up as the best burger ever. And in the handful of times I have had it...it has always just been meh. Decent, but I wasn't going to go out of my way to eat it.

I still think burgerville is better. When I am around in-n-out I always try to stop in to give it a chance, so next time I am around one, I will try it again.

BUT, these are all fast food burgers and do not hold a candle to a really good, more boutique burger. Or even a really good bar burger.

but have you tried the secret menu?

seriously, in-n-out is the best on earth. there's no comparison whatsoever. everyone who hasn't been there, i guess ignorance is bliss, but if i had one more week to live, i'd definitely go to in-n-out as one of my last meals.

unfortunately up here the best is hudson's in coeur d'alene. great, but very different.
