REVERENCE: The Kent Kreitler Story

i did a forum search to see if there was a post for this already, all i saw was a post for the trailer with no comments - so i don't want to hear any bitching.

we all know Krietler is the man and in my opinion, no one attacks the big mountain with the same intensity that Krietler does. when it comes down to it his standard of skiing is simply mindblowing - hes one crazy bastard and all you have to do is watch him to know that. For anyone who still has their head up their ass, REVERENCE is the Kent Kreitler story - like the Seth Chronicles and Theres Something About Shane Mckonkey.

reverence means a profound respect or great awe for something and while thats cheesy, its something that krietler definately deserves. basically its an entire movie of big mountain footage. which is fucking awesome...some of you may get bored by this, but for those of us obsessed with big mountain who can't seem to get enough, this movie is fucking awesome. there are endless sick lines. whats really cool is the story shows the progression over the years and makes you fully understand and respect where the game is today.

the skiing is almost all kreitler, but there are other skiers and it talks about his relationship with them, how they've influenced him and how they've influenced big mountain riding. theres some helmet cam stuff too.

i think this one is better than the Seth Chronicles, don't get me wrong I love Seth Morrison, but theres just so much more amazing footage in this one - and thats tought to compete with. but you still learn about krietler, you still learn about the foundation of big mountain riding and how it turned into what it is today.

whats really cool is that TGR and MSP came together on this one, not only to provide for all the footage, but also to show the intensity of TGR and the entertainment of MSP - which makes it a better movie.

basically kreitler is a god and his skiing is unparalleled anyone who has as much respect for him as i do, should definately see this flick.

actually the trailer isn't even that good, definately doesn't do the movie justice

yea, reverance was an awesome movie. Kreitler kills it! His power in his skiing is awesome. I am soo happy that he came back from his knee injury. We couldve lost an amazing athlete, but I think he is only more amped on skiing now. But yea, sick movie, sick skier...sickkk

gotta love him, eggcellent movie, i enjoyed the older footage tremendously, like the '93 freeskiing champs on his 205 or 210 dh boards rallying big turns with those fuckers chattering away on the snow. his recovery from that knee injury, almost seems impossible, but kreitler can do the impossible

Kreitler is a skiing god. He had always been my favorite skier in the mags and then I saw him when HARNVEST came out and he blew my mind. He was throwing off axis 3s with a tail grab then too. He was calling it the K3 he actually used to dominate the Tahoe slopestyle scene back in the day ('96, '97 when the contests were 3 crappy shaped hits). He is the athlete that has influenced my skiing the most...hands down.
