Never lived there, but I've been there a few times. Seems like a nice town, but if you're more of a city guys its probably not that great, its a bit small and it a full day's drive to Calgary or Vancouver. Now would probably be a good time to go there I would imagine because they're making that huge expansion to the mountain there. I'll bet property is still reasonable.
Property doesnt seem to be that reasonable at all there. Real estate for the most part there is already more than Fernie and Golden, which are both more established. I get the feeling that the developers are going for a more exclusive (richer) crowd. Kinda like how fashion works - charge a lot and it looks cooler.
Yes, I know the new mountain is being built... I'm just saying, compared to Golden and Fernie, which have been built up in recent years as well, especially Golden, the real estate is already really high. Should be some sweet stuff though.
