who went to revalstoke this year how everything there too

im prolly going next year sometime but want to see what its like i live on the east coast so its a long trip

yea i live in AUS so its alot further lol. but yea ive been to big white and silver star b4 and we were planning on heading there 4 a while but never got to which was a bummer, ive heard good things and cant wait to get the chance to go back

I was there in February and it's really sick. There was a shortage of snow when I was there which was balls but normally that area gets covered. Theres just an incredible amount of terrain, absolutely massive mountain (specially for an East coaster). There wasn't any park but if you're at Revelstoke I'm pretty sure you're not there for park in the first place. But ya, sweet hill... just needs snow (which they got right after leaving). And if you know the hill or with someone who knows the hill you can find some epic shit.

Sounds like we were there at the same time. Started snowing 2 days after I left.

Like he said its a great mountain with a ton of terrain and awesome features if you know where you are going. That said make sure you do know where you are and have respect for the mountain. The first weekend I was there 8 people (not all together) were lost and spent nights outside forcing the ski patrol to basically do 48hrs straight.

NS tags or you weren't really there! Check out the electrical box.

yea I was talking to a patrol about that, gotta watch for dummie tracks.. one of the people was stuck out because they followed someone elses tracks thinking they knew where they were going and if turned out to be the tracks of a person who was stuck out on a cliff a night or two before. and thats why bringing skins is a good idea...

sounds like i was there a week before you, you wouldnt of missed my big ns sticker easily

anyway, yeah its a bomb place, like said above i was there with not much snow, but i still found some chopped up 2 week old dry pow in the trees and was still able to play around of cliffs and mellow pillows... the crazy thing about revey is how quiet the place is, obviously it would be different after a dump, but this place is massive, and there were only 200 people there 1 day, so it felt super weird and dead... that was my only kindof dissapointment, dont get me wrong i love not standing in ques, but when it feels like just you on a massive hill, it gets kind of lonely... sickk place non the less, cant wait to go back on a killer season with lots of pow

I was there when the pow came in February- was fucking sick. Definately take your peep, probe, shovel and the rest of your gear cos the slackcountry is the shit.
