Retainer+dog

retainers are pretty expensive so id say his chance of survival depends on how much your dad likes him/her.
 
not good, that can get stuck in alot of different places and cause some serious damage. go to a vet.
 
hahha dogs LOVE retainers, but what kind of retainer was it. was it the one with a metal bar across your teeth, or it it was plastic ones that cover top and bottom
 
yeah, id be more worried about the price on a new retainer, my ortho told me their like $375 which is soo gay becasue its like $.03 worth of plastic.
 
if that gets stuck in the stomach or one of your dogs tubes, its screwed. My friends dog had to get emergency surgery to remove a bottom retainer bc it got lodged in the tube leaving his stomach (not sure what its called)
 
i'm more surprised at how many people have retainers than the fact that dogs eat them...

my dog has eaten some strange shit in its time. the funniest being a singing toy which played music in its belly for a while. hahaha
 
haha when i got my retainer they gave me a list of things to be sure of, and the first thing on the list was that i should keep it away from any dogs or cats, because apparently pets love to eat them.

so its not strange at all. infact its pretty common. and your dog will be fine.
 
i think your lieing about the singing toy.. it might have done that for like maybe a bit, if you kicked it... but the battery would corrode in its stomach and it'd probialy die
