Response to the Oakley dark grey lens thread!

Alright so i got my splices today that I ordered with my splices and they are sick... You cannot see through them at all and the are very dark. I would highly recommend this lens for sunny blue bird days, and they come at a great price. Of course this thread is nothing without pics.

ya i got the all black crowbars with the dark gray lense over the summer and they were the cheapest goggles on the oakley site. they're probably the sickest gogs ever

baller for the price, great alternative to the grey polarized if your just going for looks.

Those goggles are amazingly sick...and thanks for finally clearing up the dark grey thing. Not sure if you've ever worn the grey polarized, but if you have, are they similar?

I have grey polarized on some oakley radars of mine, and they are sort of similar but dark grey seems darker (hence the name)

i mean goggles also cover your whole face tho, on sunglasses light still gets under, i dont think its a fair comparrision.

Yeah i agree with that, but that is the only polarized grey lens i have....

Yeah, the grey polarized on sunglasses isn't the same as on the goggles. I have grey polarized on my Frogskins and I've worn a friends pair of Grey Polarized Crowbars and they are much darker from inside and outside. I'll probably get the Dark Grey just cause it's $80 cheaper, haha.

Go to any shop that sells oakley, like sport expert. and order some from them.

Sorry to thread jack but which lense is better for sunny day , dark gray or fire iridium ? I gave my fire to my brother so im wondering if i should buy a new one or just but the dark grey. +k for reply
