Ande is such a sick way to spell Andy.

I really like Brighton and Bear.

Have to say though, I hate Crystal as someones first OR middle name. i just hate it.

I have no problem with Aspen, however. it sounds cool. Nieve is neat, it's snow in spanish, but people would probably have trouble pronouncing it.

Not skiing related, but I've always loved the name Eva, pronounced like Ava.

Yeah, don't be a dick. Who cares if their kid likes skiing or not? It's still a unique name. I know Aspen is pretty stuck up, but you can always say you are named after the tree. I'm actually named after the tree. My mom doesn't like Aspen either.
 
did you know there was a law suit in about a nine year old girl that wanted her name changed? Her name was Hula Talula from Hawaii. Her parents actually named her that haha...she was ashamed and hid her name her whole life from her friends...

harsh name haha

so make sure its not anything too intense like that..
 
seriouesly though, thanks for all the suggestions, we changed our minds about a lot of the names we were originally planning on. We're thinking Ashland, Aspen, or Crystal (with a 'k' maybe..?)-- and we have a few months to think about it. I've seen a lot of references to porn-stars and sluts for crystal and aspen. how bout ashland? sound slutty?
 
though sierra is pretty... i live in tahoe and this one local always tells me how everyone here is named "sierra" or "amber".. or something.. and now that he said that.. yes.. i notice it EVERYWHERE dont go with that one
 
No, I know what you meant, LOL. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Aspen. It's not a stripper OR porn-star name. No one has ever asked me if I was a stripper. HAHA!

If she is strong enough to stand by next December, my goal is to put her in ski boots and have her ski a couple feet down a mellow hill -- then she can say she's been skiing since she was 0.

One of the guys in my shop named his kid Serre, after the infamous freeride resort Serre Chevalier...
 
Aspen if you want a girl with cute name.

Misty is my favourite,but than are probably perverts be all around her,and you,as a parent probably don't want that.

That's awesome. We had the same skis and I did the same thing in our front yard. My son wasn't cut out to be a telier. This is the first year that I put my kids in my ski program. They started in Vail Devo two weekends ago. The first day was the most stressful day I have ever had coaching. Getting them organized and then being up on the hill knowing that someone else is responsible for keeping my kids safe on the hill... Probably sounds goofy but I was a wreck. Stoked for you. The fun keeps getting bigger; trust me.

Yes sir, thats is nice! if Aspen needs a date some time in the future my little 1 year old boy (JP) is all ready in to gear up...
