Republican takes Ted Kennedys Senate Seat

see above. if you have the means to even save for things like skiing, and not something like food or healthcare, or whatever, you are not poor. lower middle class? maybe. poor? no.

what is this special? i watched a judge andrew napalotano special on the constitution the other day. (fox) it was really good IMO.

you automatically assume i watch Beck drew ;) (i dont)

Something about that sounds familiar, I can't quite put my finger on it, but something tells me we tried that before...

He said he was low income... not poor. You assumed that low income=poor Ben. Generalizing again you dirty hippy you!

And Glenn Beck needs to be clubbed with the next batch of baby seals in Canada. Or harpooned like the stupid whales in the Antarctic.

fine ill rephrase. if skiing is something you do, you really cant complain about being "low income" because you clearly had money to spend. whether it was saved or not.

Trying to run a health care system like Canada has though gets much harder with the bigger the population you have.

chalkboard, check. (actually its a blackboard:)

glasses, check.

crying, check.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL?

(did you see the southpark on beck? it was hilarious)

No, I accept the conclusion for what it is, I was simply pointing out that the US has a far larger population than the other countries and nothing about it is addressed in the study. I'll take any study for face value, but it does not mean I will not question it. As I have just seen this in between classes and have not had time to look up any more on the subject, I figured I would just point it out and see if anybody else had any insight to it while I went back to class. I wasn't about to make any inferences about its effects at this time because if I did, I would simply be talking out my ass. I am not rejecting the study though, just asking a question.

Politics aside I feel that it's unjust for people not to have access to healthcare. It's even more sickening, whenpeople in the US die or become ill from something they could receive treatment for in their town or city. I also don't feel it's just for terminally ill patients and their families to be in massive amounts of debt.

60% of bankruptcies are related to health bills.

Here is the problem, a sick person will spend whatever they have to get well, because what are you with out your health, and wherever there are desperate people, there is some fucker waiting to make a profit.

I'm well aware of that, btw what you've said in this thread has pretty much mirrored all my views. I didn't post in here before, because you were saying exactly what I was about to.
