I'm not trying to start anything political, but why does pretty much everyone on NS hate the reform? Healthcare is fucked, and we need to fix it.

BTW I'm not democrat or republican, I think categories are dumb.

US healthcare is not fucked. The TV has told you it's fucked. The US has the greatest healthcare system in the world. How often do you hear about people leaving the US to go to some other county for a procedure. Sure, if you want a second penis attached, you can go to Bolivia and get some radical shit done by Dr. Nick Riveria. But when it comes to life saving procedures...the US kicks all ass. It's why US doctors travel to other poor countries to fix people...and Dr's from Somolia aren't coming here.

Sure. The US system isn't perfect....but it's still the best in the world.
 
True that. I struggle to get money to go to my mountain, and when I do it's a special occasion. My mom's working two jobs and going to school, and my dad works 12-hour days, seven days a week. I don't have a car to use so I don't have a job yet. We just lost our healthcare, and since it's illegal to not offer any kind of healthcare in Minnesota, the governments offering us this super shitty plan that's about three times more expensive and now we're going to have to do it, and I'm probably not going to ski ever because if I get hurt I'm fucked.

As a conservative i am pleased with this result, but i dont really want to start any arguments. That being said, i cant believe people thought coakley would be a good senator. her campaign was one of the worst efforts in the last 5 decades

-At least ONE meaningless war (Iraq, I think Afghanistan we went in and actually had a viable reason to go in but not stay there anymore)

-Patriot Act

-No child left behind

-No reform, on well anything

-General other drivel

it wasnt meant to be an insult to conservatives. i merely meant people who WERENT conservatives, and were intelligent enough to realize that coakley had the mental capacity of a tree stump, had noone to vote for. they obviously wouldnt want to vote for brown, but coakley isnt really any better.
