I think the surplus of cases in republican states is linked more to lack of vaccination, and lack of social distance / partying / covid denying.
I myself am vaccinated but find it ironic when people go to huge indoor venues / close proximity events and expect their mask to make everything better.
There’s been evidence that shows the biggest deterrent to transmission / infection is being outside / keeping windows open.
I’m a complete covid believer, but feel like this is what you get when the government lies to its citizens so regularly that they begin to doubt the truths they say. Sort of like the boy who cried wolf.
You have to remember that things like faucci flip flopping over wether to use a mask or not, the media denying it was lab created at first (which is now finally being considered to be the most likely option) and the fact that Faucci is linked to funding the lab in Wuhan himself / so many other medical fields… That’s all going to make a lot of people not trust anything unfortunately.
