Republican Party is bringing down America. lets debate

The title pretty much tells me it will be an ignorant and heavily one sided video. Going to watch it anyway.

The problem is both parties and the ignorant people that blindly support them. Both "sides" have turned into a sick joke where the country gets worse every 4 years and voting for either "side" seems to accomplish nothing.

The republican party is cool with the religious folk, so most religious people will blindly follow the republican party off a cliff. The dem party rocks out with the other people, also a lot of youth because it's "cool" to hate the republican party.

Both sides accomplish nothing. Reps spend their lives fighting the evils that are the dems, without ever looking at the flaws in their own party. The dems spend their lives fighting the reps, and again never look within.

Each side is convinced that the other "side" is wrong, evil, whatever else. It's a pretty big mind fuck fueled by the ever slanted mainstream media.

People are fucking dumb.

I can see where you are coming from, however it is much better than a one party system. Because if whatever party is in control now does something that is clearly wrong the other party can get voted in in a few years and act as a safety valve. I do agree with you though on that this division of america between democrats and Republicans is ruining us.

The two-party system isn't necessarily ruining America, it is the fact that the parties refuse to cooperate with one another. I think it is fair to say the Republicans tend to be the less cooperative party. Most conservatives seem to have their heads shoved so far up their asses that they fail to see their own idiocy. For those of you that are well-versed in economic history, can you show me one case where a Reaganomics/trickle-down economic philosophy has not failed? Why would one give tax cuts to those who can manage taking extra tax burdens? Further, why would one allow large corporations and multi-millionaires to avoid paying any taxes at all? We can cut spending all we want, but in the end, we still have to spend. The only way to support this country while controlling (or eliminating) the deficit is to increase our government's income.

I seriously want to hear some other opinions/ideas on this. I am not looking for argument, I'm looking for enlightenment. So don't get snappy.

two parties not working and finding compromises for the common good of the citizens that they work for, is bringing down america.

I titled the thread this way to grab people's attention, and because it is a statement that I thought represented the views of the video. The video is what I want to debate.... Why wouldn't the republican party want the economy to stay in the tank? history proves that the incumbent loses if the economy is in the tank, and this video simply prompts the idea that is the vary thing the republicans want to happen. is it true? i don't know, that is why i want to debate.

George Washington was a pretty smart dude being able to predict 200+ years ago that political parties would fuck us up

Still to lazy to hook up my speakers or switch to a different computer to watch your sweet video.

Video sounds fucking stupid.

Both "sides" have completely raped the economy of anything good. Both "sides" have continued to rape the economy. Neither "side" listened to anyone in congress or on their news networks talking about the coming problems. Both "sides" Listened to the ass clowns on their "side" of the mainstream news and learned nothing. It's amazing that somebody can tell you something is going to happen, your fucking retarded side of the media laughs at them calls them a noob, you believe your side of the media and decide they are a noob regardless of consciousness, what the person said was going to happen happens, both you and your side of the media complete forget that somebody was talking about that exact issue and act like it was a big surprise. (run on sentence yo)

And if your argument is all about republicans fucking the economy... Woodrow Wilson was a democrat.

lol its the other way around,

liberalism is more progressive and conservatism is self explanitory

this thread is now about the politics of areals

Compare states and look at it in a different way. Vermont has a very democratic state legislature, which is fine and in my opinion actually good. Utah on the other hand is straight Republican and living large. The problem is the 17th amendment and no one seems to care. It allows for all the bullshit politicians that have been around forever to get re-elected to the senate.
