This is just kind of a feeler, but is it just me or do other people on NS think it's shitty to take someone else's media and repost it for their own virtual fame?

Pretty sure we always post their original video from vimeo or youtube, not everything gets posted on ns and Jason is just sharing it with ns. Whats the problem here?

Yeah, I don't see a problem here. If there's a video that is posted to youtube and not here on NS, and someone posts it here it gets a chance to get more views. With the way youtube counts it's views, it doesn't matter if it's an embed or not, so it's kinda win/win for everyone.

Newschoolers is a media hub of skiing. If you see something skiing related that is not already on NS, then chuck it up. For example, I uploaded Charlie Timmens pow edit from Australia this season because it wasn't on NS and I thought it deserved to be on NS. Same with creating GIFS from videos. As long as you're contributing to NS through posting awesome content, I don't think anyone actually care if it's yours or not.
