flying to colorado soon, and hoping to rent something great to ride in a few weeks. any local recommendations on where to turn?

If you’re going to Breck, check out slope style. One of the employees (maybe the owner?) is on here a lot. I’ll tag him if you are going to Breck

I've never used them but powder 7 in golden always seems to have a good selection of demo shit online, but all the big conglomerates (rei evo etc) probably have some decent choices too

Your best bet is to find what you wanny try then find dealers based on that

Powder 7 is better. Golden is kinda on the way. Maybe try evo too. Don’t try the little places in Idaho springs though. Lot of them have shitty stuff. Loveland’s shop isn’t bad

powder 7 doesn't rent skis, gonna keep digging. just worried about ending up at loveland and the local rental options aren't good.

Check out bentgate in golden. Really cool shop pretty sure they demo Icelantic and some other stuff. I use them for ski tech services and they are legends.

How the hell do they have so many demo skis for sale then?? That’s crazy.

Loveland resort’s rentals are not bad. Plus, you have Summit county just past Loveland resort. If you want to try a niche local brand, maybe hit up Powder factory in silver plume and see if they do extended demos

appreciate u guys Maison de Ski is the 2nd reccommendation i've got yet, and close to my route to Loveland.

They have discount lift tickets for Loveland!

Also, they'll do a free quick machine wax for anyone that walks in the door. Good to tip them though.

Hit up my boys at Maison de Ski in Idaho Springs

Nearby there are a few really great attractions you may want to check out for your trip:

Indian Hot Springs

Tommyknockers Brewery

Isle of Capri crab leg buffet

Red Dolly Prime Rib Special

The neurotic Korean guy sold it like 2 years ago, and the new owners renovated and revamped management. It's much nicer now.

Also, I'd venture to bet the women's caves are way more serene and lovely than the men's caves lol.

I'm all about the sexy private tub though.

you guys are amazing!!! thank you. gonna hit up maison de ski for my rentals since its enroute to loveland.

looks like fresh snow is dumping, so excited for monday.

There are a couple good play-it-again used ski shops in summit county if thats where ur going. Renting makes no sense if you are skiing more than 1 week

Tommy knickers is cool
