Renting Avalanche Beacons

Anyone know any places around Boulder that rent beacons?

Either that or a cheap way to pick up a beacon

buy your own and learn to use it and practice with it or there is really no point

Wow what a great idea, like i needed to come on the idea to learn that.

I already have one, and I'm trying to find one for a friend or two who are avy savy but broke

Well... you brought that on yourself. Why would you want to rent some beacon that might not work...when your freind would use it to find you?

the Boulder Outdoor Center is going out of business and everything is on sale right now. your friends should check that out 'cause it's really rare to find beacons and stuff at a discounted price. stuff on sale ranges from 20 to 70 percent off.
