pierce, no one can affford a grand a month, for 1 bedroom, thats horrible, whistler house is your best bet, frmo what ive seen its the cheapest and looks awesome.

if you're there in the off-season (april - september) and you're not there for too long, just go to staff housing at base 2. $9 a night gets you all ya need. but if you're there for a bit than yea, pique.

rent in whistler is stupid - there's really no way around that.
