What are your options for getting to the mountains from the U at Reno? Buses? I am looking at going to school there and any info would help

well if you have a car, then you could use that....but if not there are plenty of bus schedules for going to squaw, northstar, boreal and alpine meadows just look at any of their websites, and go to the transportation pages and they will have a list of places that have buses leave every single day, like for example one bus will leave the silver legacy(which is close to UNR) at 9 am going to squaw valley or something like that

i just got back from reno a couple hours ago, we stayed at the silver legacy casino. there are shuttle buses to squaw, mt rose, northstar, and i'm not sure where else. take those, or get a crew you can get rides with.
