Alright so i threw an edit out yesterday and 1 like a month ago as well and it was my first two times filming in HD. As many probs know you cant upload sony vegas pro files directly to vimeo or NS or most websites. So Iv been rendering to MP4 which is like 680x420 or something and not identified as HD because it take less space up (last was 198MB) but if I try to render to WMV HD 1080-24p or AVI 1080-60i it takes up like 100GB or somethin. so what do I do? cause i know im not gettin the quality that my cameras capable or offering.

Heres the edit shot on a HD GoPro in 1080 30fps. as you can see it should be less pixelated and much smoother lookin

also it kept saying i didnt have enough memory to render even to mp4 so i restarted my computer the it worked. What up with that? and if i try to render to WMV or AVI 1080 it almost always says this error but sometimes itll work. PLEASE HELP ANYONE!

o ya thats vimeo standard but do i need to render to 1080 to get the quality of it cause it takes up a shit ton of room or just switch the size cause there like 10 different types you can render to under .wmv like 1080-24p 1080-26p 1080-30p ect. and the lowest 1080 is 1080-24p and it says 4.6Mbps

You wont be able to tell the different on youtube or vimeo between 1920x1080 and 1280x720.

ya i understand that but what your saying is i should render to wmv 720? and in the case that it does take up to much space what should i do

simple: Render as> choose 'Sony AVC' from save as tab> click custom> For Frame size select one of the high definition 1280x720 or 1440x1080> select your desired bit rate(i normal do between 5-10 million)> click ok> finaly render
