Rename "The Indy Five" - LINE is gone to conglomerate world

BMW does not own VW, VW is in cahoots with pprsche and audi, they are al one company, nothing to do with BMW

Surface, Faction, liberty or high society. All good choices. Although I've never even heard of the indy 5 so I don't really think it matters

better profit margin on the independant companies? are you serious? the profit margins on armada and 4frnt suck, horribly, hence why my shop dropped armada and wont pick up 4frnt. we carry line already, and dont have enough room to carry a brand that cant really carry itself. for us to make any money on 4frnt or armada, we would have had to buy well over 100 to get a decent profit margin. as much as it sucks to not be able to carry the brands you want, its a business, and you have to make money. k2, rossi, dynastar and some of the other larger companies allow us to do that. it certainly didnt hurt our freeride sales at all. we had quite possibly the largest selection of twin tip skis in the mid atlantic, and more than many shops i've been to in other parts of the country as well.

you sound like a grown adult with a legitimate business. lets not scuffle with other ski shops on a kiddie website...

Lib-tech....Please say you will carry lib-tec because i dont care what kind of shit you stock...have you graduated from business school? and you still only deal with the "indy 5" grow up and realize every company is a division of someone else

Shift in ownership of a company can change a lot of things. Especially when a company buys one of its competitors. Also remember what happened to FREEZE.

freeze didnt change ownership did it? i just thought transworld wasnt making enough off of it so they shut it down

Actually our best margin from all skis comes from Liberty. Then Head, then Ninthward. You are right about Armada - very poor margins. Our shop likes to support them and other indies.

word. it would be cool to have a european company finally get into america.

and why drop line. thats retarded. do you know how much levinthal has done for freeskiing itself. he has to look out for his future too you know but obviously you dont mind ruining yours by cutting off a company that could bring in profit. and no they wont be in sports authority because lines management decides where the skis go not k2.

not at all... just cause all of their atheletes are hooked up by oakley doesnt mean they are affiated with them at all
