im trying to remove vista from my laptop and put XP on it but in order to do that I need to run a version of DOS from a bootdisk. The only problem is that in order to run DOS most sites require a floppy disk to run it off of. My laptop doesnt have a floppy drive cause that shit is old and shitty. What the fuck am I suposed to do NS? or if anyone knows any way to remove vista without the necessity of a boot disk please enlighten me.

that's right. just make sure to change the boot order in the BIOS menu (hold f8 on startup) and then clean install that mother. have fun doin the backup beforehand. i here vista blows bigtime. viva la mac.

soooo many bugs, ram intensive shit..i haven't heard a good thing about it either

talk about a nightmare, when all of your customers are downgrading to older product, you know you screwed up bigtime. I wonder how many people have lost their jobs over this...

why do you need to run dos?

you don't need dos to reformat your hdd. after its formatted make sure boot from cd is first preference in the boot sequence in the bios then put your xp cd in and go from there.

as far as I know, there isn't any way to 'downgrade' your os like there is to upgrade.

vista really isn't that bad, if you find it memory intensive, get more ram or a decent computer. Its just an operating system, not really anything to get too excited about
