Removing pole handles?

i have scott team green issue poles an want to cut them shorter. so i need to know how to remove the handle???

jsut take a flat head screw driver and use it to lift up that gummy stuff. Then take some wd40 (with the red extension nozzel on it) and spray it, around the hole pole if you want. Then just start to wriggle it and it should come right off

boil it in water then put it in a door jam while sitting down. should be really easy, just dont stab yourself with the end of the pole

Exactly, Or just put on rubber gloves and pull them out,its pretty damn easy once the grips are nice and hot

yeah just let them sit in some hot water for a little bit. Ive never had to use boiling water but that would work pretty well. Just be careful when you pull them off cause when they pull off they just suddenly let go. I banged my elbow on the wall pretty hard the first time I did it.
