Removing an edge from a ski

Not sure how to go about this but I have to rip out this edge on my gfs ski and epoxy it, any advice? See pics below:

I saw the thread earlier this month but couldn’t remember the name of it lol

Make a cut where the separation stops, remove carefully with pliers, epoxy gap.

Use a dremel or angle grinder to cut the edge an inch or so beyond the point where the ski meets the base. Fill the gap with epoxy.
