I have Jesters that I want to move 3 cm. Is this a safe distance? What I mean is how far can you move Jesters before the rear holes get too close to the front holes?

On a side note, has anyone had a bad experience moving Markers by 3 cm?

+K for help.

A lot of it will depend on the skill/comfort level of the shop tech. For this particular issue I would take it to the most reputable and respected shop in your area.

Sometimes, you'll be fine even at only +/-1cm. So, 3cm should be a healthy and safe distance. A lot of this depends on how ugly your pullout (i.e. the removal of the screws & binding pieces) ends up being. It will also depend on the construction of the ski itself: what kind of core is it, is there metal, was there a tearout prior to remount, ...

My guess is you're completely fine, people have certainly remounted MUCH closer.

The toe piece is a rectangle of around 3cm length, so just move them by that amount and reuse two of the holes.

i remounted my blends from -7 to -3 with marker griffons and it was fine, you can remount really safely to within 1cm of the holes (and withing half a cm depending on the tech) it just depends on the hole pattern. it will differ between people though due to different bsl"s so what works for one person might not work for somebody else. the only way to find out is getting them to a shop and if you end up half a cm back from where you wanted to mount its not going to be the end of the world.

I was thinking that to myself the other day when I was watching a pair of griffons being mounted, wow, that toe is a perfect freakin rectangle. So OP yea you should be good
