Remounting demos

I just picked up some demo T-halls from last year with salomon bindings. THey have the demo plates on them and i think they are mounted at recommended. Will the shop remount without the demo track thing so the bindings will be directly on the ski and if so how bad is the remount for the ski integrity ect.

If they're anything like Look demos, you can't just pull the track off and make them normal bindings. You'll probably have to get another set of bindings if you want them mounted lower.

Im pretty sure a Salomon Demo is a Salomon Demo...for ever. You cant take that adjusment track off and remount. You have to keep it and adjust it where you want it or remount with something else.

If you can get them to a setting you like, without remounting...close to center Im assuming for park, then ride them until you break them. Then get new stuff! But if you find something cheap that you like, remount them. Its personal choice I guess. I had to rent skis a while back because I maimed my other skis at the time and had AR5 rentals, I found the demo binding had lots of movement, twisting, creaking, that kind of thing. Just my .02 cents..

On older Salomon rentals you definitely used to be able to take the bindings off and in theory could remount without the tracks. Take them to your shop and they'll have a look.
