Remounting Bindings

So I have j skis with a pair of marker squires mounted on them, I need a hire din and a better binding and I'm looking to get some rossignal fks's cause I can get them super discounted at the ski store I work at. I just started there and have only been trained on the products they sell and not so much on ski tuning so thats why I came here.... can I remount these bindings on my skis?

yes remounting them is not a problem just have someone at the shop do it. There is a forum for this kind of stuff thought. Just remember that next time. Remounting is not an issue

Okay wicked, so I don't have to worry about it taking performance out of my skis?

I mean it won't take any performance out of the skis as long as you plug the original holes, they know what they are doing at the shop (hopefully). You don't really want to remount them more than a few time though

If you are remountin to the same size boot you may have to move the mount point. The holes for the fks may interfere with the old holes, especially the toe, so you may find you nee to mount slightly back. If you don't want to do this using a griffon in the old holes may be a better idea. Ask the shop tech to work out what will fit.

Lol. you must be huge if you need a higher din. Like yes squires arent as durable as fks' but ive had my suires for 5 years and have trashed multiple skis with them and theyre still working great and the din is not a problem

I would bring it to a professional ski shop and get their opinion, you don't need to pay them for an opinion. Its also smart to lets professionals deal with this stuff. Improperly installed bindings are nothing to mess with... torn ACLs are common with poorly installed bindings.
