so i had p12 lifters on my tm's, then i crashed and kicked the shit out of the binding somehow. so i'm getting some new p12 jibs, and i want to mount them at the same place, +2, because i loved them mounted there. will i be able to have them mounted at teh exact same place?

(and on a sidenote, are the p12 jibs any lighter than the p12 lifters?)

Steve doesnt know much about skis and bindings. Unless you are interested in gay porn I wouldnt ask him anything.

but yeah Id remount them somewhere else. Mounting in the same holes will just lead to them ripping out.

yea exactly , if it isa problem , they cna jsut insert coils into the wholes or water, i ripepd my binding out of my ski and had to get coils inserted when i remounted them , and it works.

I am very discouraged to the fact that the site adminster didn't look at my profile or ask before doing something like this. I may be new to this website but I have been skiing more then most of you.

PLEASE research or ask before making such assumptions like this one.

alright sounds good, thanks for all the replies!

ask to have your screws epoxied in, not just glued. that will help, but they will be a bitch to take off.

in science class i sat down to fast and you know how you can sit on your balls. well i did and i sat down really fast and crushed them and right when i sat down i started puking and fell out of my chair. they teacher laughed. i felt like i could pass out i wanted to die.-*NWFT*nUkkA

I don't get why you can't just mount them back in. Like, he said the holes weren't damaged, the bindings weren't torn out of the ski, just broken.

I took my bindings off on my old skis to give the skis a really good clean because I was planning on selling them, but when I decided not to sell I just screwed 'em back in and they worked fine for me.

I would've actualy recommend a heli-coil, but I asked our shop tech about it about a week and a half ago, he said using the same holes would be fine.

so i dunno
