Remixs and Mashups (B-Roc, lil wayne, Journey, Biggie, Beat Mummy, Living Legends, and Juicy J)

That was preeeetty bad. But hey, nobody comes up with anything good when they're starting out.
I'd give you some advice, but my best recommendation is to leave these tracks for a bit, listen to some really good mashups, compare, and then look at what you need to improve.
Keep at it, and you'll be putting out sick mixes and mashups some day. But whatever you do, don't give up because of initial difficulty. Music is a super hard thing to do, I've been playing piano for 12 years, and most of the beats and stuff I make sound like complete shit. Just takes time.

Thanks man i would give you k but its already at 10/10 and i definitely dont plan on stopping its just too fun and gives me something to do when im not skiing

Hey man, I can tell you used Virtual DJ to mash them all together. I myself also make mashups. I've noticed a couple things. You need to match up the songs better. Such as, start the first verse of the acapella as the first verse of the instrumental is beginning. Also, none of those songs were in key. In order to make a mashup sound good the two songs need to be closely in key. Hit me up with anymore questions and if you wanna listen to my mashups.

word, not to hate, but i couldn't get through 30 seconds of the first one

that being said, don't quit

try to find songs that have a similar pace. that's a good way to start.

also, start off by using songs without autotune. it's easier in general to use songs where the pitch and singing and whatever doesn't change all the time. makes it sound more professional when you're all done, and like the song was originally made like that.

that's why i personally think its easiest to use artists like nas, biggie, dr dre, method man, etc as the rap, and whatever works behind them, because their voices don't shift a ton like kanye west, eminem, etc.

hope that makes sense. message me if u wanna hear my latest mashup. i'm not a pro by any means, but i know a little.
