I don't know if it is just me but there used to be so much more hype around video of the day. getting on to the computer, getting comfortable and putting 100% concentration into that one video. Like "damn this is Newschoolers favourite video today"

Not sure what it is but the feeling is gone
 
I very much miss video of the day. I think the front page would definitely benefit from bringing it back.

Plus NS could post it to their FB page. THINK OF ALL THE LIKES DOUG!!!!
 
I just think that the magic of VOTD is gone if its not prominently featured and labeled as such on the front page.

VOTD is the second item in the slider each and every day.

Has been that way for almost a year.

How much more prominent could it be?

Maybe we need to title it or something?

I'm not blaming you, obviously there is something missing here... but yeah boom it sure as fuck is there.

I think its as simple as putting a bing Video of the Day label on it. Its really just a psychological thing. I didn't even realize that the second slider was always votd.
