when bands make remakes of older songs, what do u think. sometimes i think it is cool, but other times i think it is really dumb. like alien ant farm remade that song by michael jackson, i thought that was gay. but i think the song i remember you origanly done by skid row is a good remake by the ataris. well post what u think of remakes, do u think they are gay, or dumb, name some cool, or gay songs u know of. list ur fav remake of all time, peace out

I think covers are a good thing in lots of ways. A band will know how good their song is if another band wants to do a cover of it and it helps bands learn from their peers.

Sometimes though, I hear a cover and I say, 'It's not the same at ALL' I can't even listen to Blackbird by anyone else even though it's practically a lullaby now.

Bon Jovi did a pretty good cover of the Beatles' song, 'Helter Skelter'. Of course, the original is the best! However, Britney's cover of 'I love Rock 'n' Roll' came no where near the original by Joan Jett.

Me: 'How come every time we talk, the subject of my mum using drugs comes up?'

I think covers are good as long as they dont slaughter the song and the band does not play too many covers!
