Nobody can force you to think a certain way. I personally like religion as a concept, so this is a little offensive. I don't know anyone who "shoves religion down children's throats", especially if they are truly religious.

I grew up in church, and I've seen plenty of people try to cram religion down someones throat, but that's not what this is about. I only posted it for the amusement factor. :)

I'm not religious in any way, and I have nothing against people who are. It's those god dam assholes that stand in front of my library at school and preach to everyone saying that you need to find jesus now to save yourself. Those assholes who try to push their religion on everyone else really piss me off.
 
is it that bad trying to spread the sense of love and purpose that many find within religion?
 
you're right, so many people go around "please, tell me about your religion! i want to convert, but no one has come up and talked to me about it yet!"there is absolutely nothing wrong with preaching your views to another as long as you do it at the appropriate time and placeall that you need to do is say im no interested and move on. and speaking to someone about what you believe, with purely good intentions is not shoving any type of metaphorical dick down anyones throat
 
When other people don't see it as a sense of love and purpose, then yes it is bad. Crack addicts probably want everyone to feel the love they feel when they are on crack, but they get put in prison.

Maybe this was a bad metaphor, comparing religion to crack, but I feel like it got my point across.
 
thats literally like comparing an apple with a shoe lace....completely irrelevant you may find it annoying, but once again, trying to spread something you wholly believe and hope others to is nothing that is going to kill you, or make you gargle on some cum
 
Yeah I guess it was too severe, but you weren't supposed to take my metaphor literally. I guess I was just trying to say that selling crack and spreading religion can piss some people off. Not that they are the same thing or that they equally piss people off though..

Why am I even comparing crack to religion on the first place?
 
dude i dont even knowi completely agree that running around trying to spread your religion is stupid, but too many people take it too personally and get soo butt hurt over it
