Well, if Kerry is truly a man of the modern world, it really shouldn't matter to him. It's just a religion right? christianity! this is just silly, the only reason they are talking about excommunicating him is because he is a public figure. And kerry has said (if you bothered to watch the debates) that he was personally not for abortion, but it is not his place to take away a right that has been upheld in the courts. our country has separation of church and state, religious morals and rules should not come into play when making laws. you can say all you want about this country being founded in christianity bu the founding fathers also made it a point to separate religion from government.
