man - this whole shit's fucked. if two people are good togeather should they stay togeather even if it means wasting away day after day ruining their lives? and can love blind you from what's really important in life? lastly - is it worth it?

maybe i just don't understand it because I'm not ready for a meaningfull relationship weather it conflicts with my life or not - and really, if you're in a relationship your life has to change... so can you be in a relationship and still live a life the way you want to?

or maybe it's not the relationship that makes them ruin their lives, but instead their own stupiditiy that allows themselves to make the obvious wrong choices?

but is it worth it to stay in the same town you grew up in for your whole life, and do nothing for a few years but 'be in a relationship'? you only get to be young once, why waste it on a relationship?

I don't know... it might be that I live around a bunch of 'hicks'... a lot (actually, pretty much all) the people I'm friends with right now are all in relationships. their lives consist of bitching at eachother, spending ALL of their money on the relationship, no future plans, only the relationship they are in... at 18 or 19 years old is it really worth it to just settle down like that?

darryl knowing you. you shouldnt get involved in a relationship right now. with your personality you'll end up being upset yourself because you cant do the things you could if you were single. youd always be second guessing yourself.. just wait until the day comes. dont go searching.

and well relationships suck ass in general. the only good thing that you get out of a relationship at our age, is sex. and maybe some sympathy now and then.. even friendships are pains. well then can be.

alpentalik is right. If you see it as being tied down or wasting day after day away then it isn't a meaningful relationship and you shouldn't be in it. Basically if you're having doubts then something's not right and you either gotta get it sorted or get out. I live my life the way I want to, I don't even worry about girls unless they're going the same direction as me. At this stage of your life you're too young and need to get out live it rather than trying to play grown up.

If it makes you feel any better, I was practically married at 17, and I wish I could have those 15 months back.

Though, if you find the right person, a relationship does not have to seem like wasting time. 2 people that can get along and be in unison with each other, thats not wasting time.

It's just hard to find that person.

me and my gf are sort of on a break,we had a huge fight and were not talking to each other at all and im taking off the ottawa for 3 weeks,last time i went away it did us real good,it helped alot

i agree with you fully mike hunt, i mean the longest relationship i've had is a month and a half, i just get bored, and then i see the other people who've been goin out for years and i laugh at them, i just think it's a waste of time and money but i probably havn't met the right girl yet
