Firstly, I do not care if this is a repost. I'm on mobile and didn't feel like searchbarring.

Secondly, I'm sure many of you have experienced rejection once or twice. Let's hear your tales of how you got stomped into the dirt.

Let me start. Tonight was my schools formal and I ended up talking to this guy I had been talking to the previous year and we ewre both showing interest. We ended up getting our picture taken together and dancing and having a great time. Or so I thought. After we had finished dancing, he spun left me standing there alone and ended up dancing with this horrible ugly girl....

Anyways, let's hear your tales !

Tonight at my school formal I somehow got stuck with this crazy blonde girl that I had talked to like once in the previous year. She was trying to dance with me and take a picture of us and shit. Long story short by the end of the night I flipped that bitch around and picked myself up a solid 7.

this isn't really rejection, but if we are telling sob stories heres one;
Today this kid has just been running his mouth, and finally I got tired of it, so when he called me out we went and met up to fight. Unfortunately word got out quick every girl I like was there.
sure enough this is like the second time I've met this kid. Realize the fool has probably 30 pounds and 3 inches on me. We went two rounds and I tore him up the first, second round he had a haymaker to my temple, dropping me to a knee. In the end we called it cool and walked off saying a tie, but my face was bloody as hell and all these girls saw me get worked.
No words can describe my shame.
 
Well if the girls were there and saw you work him in the first round and you were able to walk off under your own power it's not as bad as you think
 
what's Anathema going to say when he finds out you were dancing with another guy. way to break his heart.
 
so i go to kiss her after what i thought was a nice evening, and she's all "i don't think of you that way"

for like 4 different girls.
 
i have a story to pwn you all. but its too depressing so i wont tell it.

anyways, to Meghhipster/Meghan: perhaps there still hope and he's just 'playing hard to get'?
 
freshman year i asked a semi fat chic to homecoming with a single rose and she just kind of looked at me and walked away.
 
meh, i've got a pretty good one..i just dont wanna take the time to type it up.

anyways, you can probably find a better guy anyways.
 
Girl I really liked. was long distance so i guess this usually happenss. 2 weeks ago busts out the I love you your the best, now its I'm gunna date this new guy where just buddies right. Like fucking forealz such bullshit. fuck bitches get money
 
You are from Ontario and your formal was last night, do you go to Branksome Hall or St. Clements by any chance?
 
hmmm don't think I have ever been rejected before. I have broken up with ppl and been broken up with before though. So I guess that kinda counts
 
I have been rejected on several occasions. When I was in school I swear the girls made a game out of it. They would get my hopes up then destroy them before they ever began.. I honestly have no feelings towards being rejected now so I guess it made me a man?
 
when i was in 8th grade i asked a girl to a dance and she said she couldnt go because she had soccer practice but then i saw her there anyways.
 
In 8th grade i asked out this girl after we had been texting daily for a while and talking at school a lot and she straight up looked me in the eyes and said "no." not even an explanation. but it was cool i just walked it off and by the next day i was laughing about it, but apparently she took it really seriously cause now im a sophmore and she still wont even look at me. its probly for the better though cause shes been on the decline since middle school and is now quite unattractive... or maybe she always was.
