Refurbished Apple Products

Has anyone bought a Mac or iPod from Apple's refurbishing center? I'm in the market for both an iPod and a macbook pro and I am thinking this may be the best/cheapest option. Any thoughts/experiences with this?
 
My sister bought a refurbished ipod, dont think she had a problem except the extra money she saved got put towards her meth addiction which caused her to OD and die

Jokes she didn't really buy a refurbished ipod
 
i bought my 15" MBP refurbished. not a single difference than a new one. definitely buy refurbished if you can. im pretty sure they have the same warranty too
 
I got a refurbed MacBook Pro 13" about a month ago...great buy. Same warranty, exact same specs....about $200-300 cheaper.
Spend what you save on an extra 3 years of AppleCare
 
i got an iphone 3Gs for $50 no strings attached. no scratches, nothing wrong with it. i updated it to uhhh iso4 and its NEW.

My buddy bought a 15" MBP like 2 years ago, and it was like BRAND new. refurbished stuff is good as long as u make sure its legit.
 
i had an ipod that didn't work and they gave me a refurbished one for free under my warranty. it works fine. it just doesn't have the little apple engraving on the back. not that it matters or anything
 
I got my refurbished iMac yesterday, and there is not one thing wrong with it. There's nothing that I can see that separates it from buying brand new, in fact, a lot of people think buying refurbished Apple is better because the products get more care and inspection than a brand new one. You save money, and potentially avoid problems (or if you do get problems, you'll get it fixed for free/a replacement.
 
I've bought all my ipods from there. A total of 4 so far. Only one has died but that was becuase of mis-use. IMO I would get a Zune, because they are cheaper hold more, and get more music

My friend has one and you pay 15 subscription or something like that you get 10 downloads for you to keep forever, and unlimited downloads on songs but once you unsubscribe you don't get the unlimited anymore.

Or you could just limewire.
 
If they weren't required by law to tell you it's refurbished, they wouldn't. It's exactly the same stuff.
