28.5 is not a boot sole length it is a foot size. boot sole length is in mm.

it'll be close to 325mm , so if your a 29'5 and the bindings slide further back you'll only be plus one instead of plus 2, roughly, worse case is remount the heal peice

i have this same pair of skis and they are soooooooo sick

they have more of a midrange flex to them but they are so long it stiffens them up nicly

i am 150 lbs 6 foot and charge through anything with them

and they are sooooooooooooooooooooooo light it is awesome
