be fucken deal you won these 2 games, fuck if you win the next 3 against us ill be pissed but it doesnt mean jack shit, hell the in alcs you won 3 in a row before the yanks got beat down, last year the yankees beat us something like 11 times, and we won like 14 i forget the exxact numbers but thats close. 162 games in the season so go ahead and talk shit about the first few games cause i mean they do decise the whole season, and on a bit of a tangent here about payrolls, yah the sox have the second highest, but as of last year i think we were like 70-80 million bellow the yanks, plus in order to compete in a division that requires we play the yanks more than anyone else it makes sense that we shell out a decent amount of money

I'm a die hard Sox fan (as some may know) but there is no way the Sox will win the east. They'll probably get the wild card. Anyways it is so much different, before when we would win 2 against the Yankees we'd be like ohhhh Yankees Suck and what not and then Yankees fans would just shrug it off just like us Sox fans are doing right now. Oh how winning a world series changes things, I really don't expect the sox to have a good start, I believe they're not ready to play yet, almost hung over from last year. I mean look at everything going on during spring training.

No, I love bein a hardcore yanks fan, no doubt about that. But gaurenteed half the people that bitch aboutt he sox take it wayyyy TOO seriously. At UNH, a friend of mine flipped a car after the last ny/boston game because it had a ny license plate. People like that are who I'm addressing, and I'm sure there are plenty of them out there, just not to that extent.

The Sox had there year last year, this year I dought they will win the wildcard, to many good teams in the AL.Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see another Yankees/BO Sox AL Final but I can't see the Sox getting into the playoffs or past the first round.

One more thing; other than Schilling Boston has no reliable pitchers while the Yankees have a solid pitching staff.

 
It's true, some people do take it way too seriously. Especially in soccer where players a murdered for mistakes and fans are killed in riots. Still, I like to give most people the benefit of the doubt that they're not a complete fuck up.
