I'm not a Red Sox fan. I'm not even much of a baseball fan. I'm just an objective sports fan (at least in this instance I am). If a team sucks now, they suck, it doesn't matter how much they've done in the recent or historic past (see: Habs, Liverpool FC). You can't do anything about the past, you can only worry about this year. For that reason, all that matters is this year. You Yankee fans need to get over yourself. The fact of the matter is that you're the only team in baseball to CHOKE away a 3-0 series lead. Face up and accept that your over priced team that you cherrished so much choked. It's okay, they're chokers. There's nothing wrong with that. CHOKE CHOKE!
