10/10. i'm a theistic agnostic and i find it pathetic the extent to which much of r/atheism seeks out the least intelligent, least rational, and most backward of the religious to make a straw man argument against everyone who isn't an atheist. religion deserves to be critically examined, but petty name calling of the least reasonable, or those who are minding their own business with their religion, is downright douche-baggery.

Thank you so much for having a coherent, respectful, and rational response. I understand what you're saying and I agree that religion shouldn't influence people outside of it's own faith. Also, I don't stereotype all atheists as "Reddit assholes" because I most certainly wouldn't want to be associated with the Westboro Baptist Church, or Jonestown or anything like that.

thats a nice video im really into the universe and stuff too. but my thoughts were a little deeper than that.

ok so we have all these particles and stuff which in essence run the universe right? well they didnt just appear out of air something had to have happened, such as the big bang. the theory for that is something along the lines of all the mass ever created shot apart faster than the speed of light (or something along those lines, i am no physisist) any way, what made it shoot out at that particular time? what is the universe inside of? the universe was in fact scientifically made but how does this stuff just happen? which i think could be why there is in fact something more. maybe not a god or whatever the fuck anyone believes in on earth but you just never know. and maybe amadeus (fucked up the spelling probably) it could be a brain of some sort i guess. all i know is i am religous but if your atheist thats chill too i wont throw the bible at you for a different opinion.

It's ironic that you make that point inferring people don't actually represent themselves accurately online, but you easily call me ignorant on pg.1 and assume that i was actually being serious.

however, let's be real here, most my comments online are ignorant and often ignorant to the point of trolling. Mainly just to evoke a response from those who take me seriously, gives me lols. So all the hate i get is completely well deserved.
