it was kinda cool to have something like that dedicated to our kind of sport only. but hey thats business.
 
what? it was for every action sport basically. not just skiing. and some sports that didnt even exist until red bull came along. flying, kneeboarding down sand dunes, flugtog...
 
^Yeah I really get a kick out of all the RedBull alternative sports, some of them are pretty dope.
 
being why i said our KIND of sport. as in like unconventional sports...as in not hockey, baseball, football...
 
Thats the Canadian junior team....the junior toruny(starts boxing day) is in a town where red bull is made and was created so thats what they are famous for, and they sponsored there towns team. This was an exhibition game that Canada was warming up for the actual tournament...and threepeat!!
 
what? they're involved with pretty much everything except basketball, baseball, and football... damn near everything else, if they don't own it, they're near the top- autosports, flying, skiing, snowboarding, skating, bmx, mtn bikes, and just about everything else that involves being sweet. RedBull tends to invest in rad stuff and since hockey's rad, is it any surprise that they'd get involved?
 
I like how the word RED BULL is above the number so everyone can see, and the last name, well who gives a shit

you missread me. i said they are into a lot of kind of independant sports. i guess i wasnt clear enough. i ment to say pretty much what you said
 
I hope redbull stays with alternative sports for sponsorship because once they go huge with hockey and shit, our sports will suffer because there is so much more money in the major shits like hockey and baseball that kiteboarding and shit like that will be seen as a waste of time
 
Yo I'm pretty sure it's 4-peat. Regardless, World Juniors is the most exciting tournament after the Olympics (World Cup can get good too I guess).

I love hockey, but that is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Who designed those jerseys??

Plus, in the European leagues in order to raise money the teams will put company logos on their jerseys as ad space, so it isn't too far of a stretch to see red bull sponsor a team.

That'd be like asking Canadian why the fuck we dont know whats up with the International Cricket League (or whatever its called). Buy a tv and watch some cricket noob :P
