No it was Vernon beating the shit out of Roy. Osgood was no where near that fight. But you cant honestly watch that with an open mind and tell me the Avs won. Lemiuex got his shit rocked hard by Mcarty! The goalie fight in that one was probably a tie. In 98 osgood and roy did throw down. I would give the slight win the Roy (he was a bit more jacked up). The overall brawl in this game is more of a tie maybe a sight win for the wings. wings all the way, I've been watching them since like second grade. Those huge fights between the avs and the wings were pretty crazy, back in the days of yzerman, shanahan, fedorov, larionov, etc.

5-1 on the second game..its not even close yet, when are the Avs going to start playing because right now they look like a HS team.
Also, as for the goalie fights.
Roy - 6' (175 - 192 lbs)
Vernon - 5' 9" (155 - 180 lbs)
Osgood - 5' 10" (176 - 181 lbs)
Two things to take into consideration..In both fights (no matter what team you root for), Roy ended up with bloody faces, neither Vernon nor Osgood had any blood or tending to from the training. Both fights ended with Roy going over to the trainer to get patched up. And considering that Roy has a 2-3" height advantae and a good 10lbs or more over either Detroit Goalie...HE GOT JACKED!!!

My personal favorite part of all those fights is when Brendan Shanahan "intercepted" Roy when Roy was going to be to be a pansy goalie entering a fight with a non-goalie (when he tried to go after McCarthy while McCarthy was beating the crap out of Lemieux who debutted the move affectionally known in hockey as "The Turtle").
Unspoken rule, goalies dont fight non-goalies...
