the yankees better watch out for the red sox. i have a feeling that a huge payroll won't get them through this series. it's the red sox time and they have a solid team this year which has lots of depth that could deffinitly take them all the way to the world series.

i dunno but i think the champ of baseball should be determined a differnt way. i mean the braves have won their leaugue the past what 14 years and have 1 world series title to show for it under joe torre. they are by far the best team year to year, besides the yanks massivly paid players.

to have your title ride on winning in the playoffs just doesnt make sence.

baseball is a game of somewhat luck and skill. to be able to connect and hit a homer is somewhat lucky in times.

but to win your division every year nd then come playoff time you just have bad luck doesnt make sence to me

yo... d-loc. you need to understand this: the braves won their division because they play in the NL East, very possibly the weakest division in all of major league baseball. they don't 'deserve' any more than what they've done. if you can't win in the playoffs, then you don't deserve to win at all.

I was in cooperstoon and my friend wanted to buy a red sox hat at one of the many stores in the area. we got to a store that was onviously pro yankee, but he got the hat there anyways because he liked it. with the sales tax the price of the hat came out to exactly $19.18.
