Tom Brady has 3 Super Bowl rings? Wow he must be the BEST quarterback in the game to date. He must have skills in every category, a league leader in every aspect. I hate this debate, winning records don't necessarily reflect skill. Tom Brady is a good QB, I will not deny that, however he is far far from being the best.

Are you fucking serious? Peyton Manning leads the league in touchdowns, passing yardage, blah blah blah, but how many super bowls has he won? How has he done against a defense like Bill Belicheck's, one that actually makes him work and think?

Brady has so many of the intangible skills that cannot be measured in numbers. Give me a fucking break. You honestly think winning isn't a representation of a quarterback's skill? If that were true, then shitty quarterbacks would be champions, and great quarterbacks would be failures. It just doesn't work that way.

Rings signify greatness: Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the NFL.

We obviously have two different views on what makes a quarterback (or a team) great. You think Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning. I would disagree. Tom Brady is surrounded by a good team, good coaching staff, and an image of intimidation that causes opposing teams to never play their game. This can be seen and has been seen throughout the last few years. That doesn't make Tom Brady the best quarterback. It means Tom Brady is a dependable enough guy to be situated in his position and perform his duty to contribute. His superbowl rings don't signify his greatness, nor his teams. Any team is capable of beating any other team.

Martock_Free- I think it does, i agree w/ eastcoastpride.......ya, peyton manning has skills, but he hasnt been able to beat good defenses (ie-pats)....and dont even say he doesnt have good surrounding players (harrison, stokley, reggie wayne, edgerrin james).........which make up the best offense in the NFL.............and Tom Brady won his first SB when drew bledsoe couldnt get the job done the yr before, w/ practically the same team...............tom brady is a winner, which makes him a great quarterback.......peyton manning has great skills, but cant win, which makes him a good quarterback
